Most people say I’m a skeptic and a pessimist. I’m just a realistic thinker. I see and say things as they are. Is it offensive? Yes. The truth is always offensive. It never sets you free. It just creates a different kind of prison and label for you. Lying is not an option either. It is slow poison that erodes your sense of freedom and maintaining it is a debt to your conscious.
My name is Jabulile Sigola. I am a liar. Can you boldy admit that you’ve become a liar by uttering more that one lie?
There’s never enough justification for lying. Denying a person the truth is denying them an appropriate response to whatever situation you present. The truth hurts. What hurts more is discovering the truth after previously believing a beautiful lie. No matter how well constructed the lie is, it doesn’t become truthful. Putting lipstick on a pig doesn’t make it human. We should stop the habit of lying. Yes. I said habit. Lying is an exercise that becomes embedded in you as a personality trait and then you gain a label. After you’re labelled, you become the lie.

How to ruin just about anything
But in all honesty some lies seem like great ideas. They even sound tasty as they roll out your tongue, the after taste even tastes like Christmas. But then again when has the truth ever set anyone free? Ironic right. There is a thin line between the truth and lies. Choose the truth at all costs.
